Prior to graduating from college, Stephen Kohara was recruited by Lusardi Construction Company in San Marcos. CA, a full service general contractor with an annual volume of up to $200 million. Starting out as a project engineer, Stephen took an aggressive approach towards gaining experience by working in Project Management and Estimating and taking these experiences to the field where he worked in the capacity of superintendent and project manager on projects ranging from automotive dealerships to correctional facilities for the State of California.

Upon joining United Builders Service in 1995 Stephen immediately stepped in as General Manager to oversee the company. As the CEO of UBS, Stephen is responsible for all departments and personnel of the company. He is extremely active in all day-to-day operations and works closely with the individual department heads by providing leadership that helps the company maintain profitability. He reviews all estimates and personally tracks the progress of each project tlirough constant communication with UBS's general superintendents and project managers. His assertive style and professional attributes ensures our clients that United Builders Service strives for the same goals to make each project successftil. He maintains close personal working relationships with each of them.

Having grown up in Central Louisiana, Stephen enjoys hunting and fishing. Stephen and his family currently reside in Golden, Colorado.
